Rise of the Cwens takes place in Cwenland, a land that holds mystical qualities and ancient knowledge. However, it is a land tainted by problems and curses that arise from the neighboring nation of Halagoland. Cwenland is home to an ancient relic that has been taken from its depths. Many fingers are pointed by the residents of Cwenland in the direction of the leadership.

After the relic is stolen, it douses the residents in fear, dread, and confusion as they want the answers to their questions. A call for a hero is put out, and a young man from the ranks of the common men responds. He shows great feats of courage to return the historical relic to its rightful place. Valo is next in line for the throne and proves to be the noblest and bravest contender for the throne. There are evil forces that threaten to topple him. Will he succeed?
